Criminal Law Practice Center graduates benefit from the law school's strong and active network of over 10,000 alumni, many of whom act as mentors, externship or internship supervisors, professional contacts, and future employers for new graduates. Western State University is particularly well-represented by alumni practicing criminal law as prosecutors, public and private defense counsel, and judges. Western State University has an unrivaled presence at the Orange County District Attorney's Office and Orange County Office of the Public Defender, where 20-25% of the attorneys are WSU grads.
