Spring Program

PROGRAM OPTIONS | SPRING 2013

  • Full time – Students take a full course of study to complete the J.D. degree in 6 academic semesters and graduate in three years.
  • Full time accelerated – Students starting in spring have the option of graduating in 2 ½ years by taking summer units and an additional class during the academic year.
  • Part time evening – Students attend year round to complete the program in four years, typically three nights a week during the academic year.

INTERESTED IN APPLYING?

Who is eligible to apply:

  1. Application submitted before December 1, 2012
  2. Completed undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year college
  3. LSAT score (no later than October LSAT)
  4. Personal statement and two letters of recommendation via LSAC; resume is optional but recommended

Requirements for admission are the same for full time, accelerated, or part time programs. Indicate the program you prefer on your application; you may change your option up until the time you register for classes. Students may also petition to switch to full time or part time status in subsequent academic years, subject to schedule availability.

Your Application:

Apply on LSAC starting August 20th. Admission is on a rolling basis and decisions are rendered as files are completed. Last day to apply is December 1st. There are very tight deadlines and processing delays due to holidays for the spring start. APPLY EARLY fall for admission and for financial aid to get timely decisions and plan ahead.

Tuition:

  • Full time: $19,600 per academic semester
  • Part time: $13,110 per academic semester + additional summer units (cost varies)
  • Full time accelerated: Same as full time + additional summer units (cost varies)

Financial Aid:

Apply for financial aid (FAFSA) as soon as your application is submitted to ensure eligibility and timely approval. Contact the financial aid office for additional planning assistance.

Scholarship consideration:

All admitted students will automatically be reviewed for merit awards, based on LSAT scores and undergraduate academic record. Scholarship awards will be made by mid-November.

Registration Deposit:

A nonrefundable $300 deposit is required as an initial commitment before registration. Payment of this deposit will hold a seat in the entering class and any scholarship offer that has been made. Registration will begin mid November.

ONCE ADMITTED…

Registration: Begins mid-November

Classes: First day of class and mandatory Orientation for new students begins Monday, January 7th

Financial Arrangements: Must be complete by January 4th

Join us for this dynamic workshop to:

  • • Hear how our students acquire skills, hands-on experience, and make contacts to prepare for practice after law school

  • • Hear from a panel of current law students and recent grads
  • • Meet and network with faculty members, current students and alumni
