Law School Library

The Western State College of Law Library is located in a three-story building near Western State's classroom building. The Library's website includes the Library catalog and links to electronic resources.

The Library's resources include:

  • Tens of thousands of books and other printed materials
  • More than a dozen subscription databases
  • Study rooms for groups of students and for alumni studying for the bar
  • Wireless Internet connectivity throughout the Library
  • Desktop computers with wired Internet connectivity

The Library's reference desk is staffed by law librarians with both a J.D. and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. The librarians assist students and faculty with legal research via one-on-one assistance, telephone, and email. The librarians also teach courses about legal research and other subjects and give presentations about legal research.

Join us for this dynamic workshop to:

  • • Hear how our students acquire skills, hands-on experience, and make contacts to prepare for practice after law school

  • • Hear from a panel of current law students and recent grads
  • • Meet and network with faculty members, current students and alumni

Lunch will be provided! An optional school tour will be given after lunch.
