Western State College of Law at Argosy University, the oldest law school in Orange County, California, is pleased to announce that 92% percent of its graduates taking the State Bar of California's Committee of Bar Examiners exam for the first time in February of 2012 have passed, placing Western State College of Law first among the twenty California law schools who are American Bar Association (ABA) accredited.

Their presentation, entitled Developing Students Identities as Legal Apprentices, focuses on how law students should begin to think of themselves as practicing attorneys, beginning from their first year of law school. New Report Sheds Light on Secretive Deportation Practices; Reveals Evidence of Systemic Violations of Basic Rights for Immigrants in Deportation Proceedings.

“Deportation Without Due Process,” a groundbreaking report, analyzes thousands of never-before-released government documents revealing evidence of widespread misuse of the “stipulated order of removal” program. The lead author of the report is Western State Professor Jennifer Lee Koh, who co-authored with Stanford Law School professor Jayashri Srikantiah and National Immigration Law Center (NILC) attorney Karen Tumlin.
