Western State University College of Law proudly acknowledges that alumna Pearl G. Mann has been named “Attorney of the Year” by the Public Law Center in recognition of her 25 years of Pro Bono Volunteer service to low income residents in Orange County.  Ms Mann’s work has focused on wills and estates, powers of attorney and conservatorship matters for the elderly and persons living with HIV and AIDS.    An active member of the Orange County Bar, Orange County Women Lawyers, and the Administration of Justice Committee of the State Bar, she has actively encouraged pro bono service in the Orange County legal community and has mentored and assisted colleagues in contributing legal services for low-income clients.

The award was presented June 21st at the annual Volunteers for Justice dinner in Irvine, attended by several hundred members of the legal community, Western State Dean William Adams, and other members of the law school faculty and administration.
