Jericho Williams (Class of 2019) recently became a deputy city prosecutor for Long Beach.
Williams originally thought that he wanted to be a defense attorney, but after interning for the city prosecutor, he realized that prosecutors could use their discretion to make a difference. Williams started as an intern before being hired as a law clerk for the city prosecutor while completing his J.D. at Western State.
Williams is the first person in the history of Long Beach to go from city prosecutor intern to city prosecutor law clerk to deputy city prosecutor.
