Career Development provides career counseling and assistance at every level, matching our expertise and resources to fit your needs. Examples include one-on-one career counseling, on-campus interviews, networking events, workshops, mock interviews and salary negotiations, the Career Development library, and more.

Career preparation starts during your first year of law school, well before you receive your degree. To keep you on track, we have developed checklists for each semester that highlight the small steps you can take along the way that will add up to big results by graduation. EVENTS

It’s important to log off your laptop now and then to meet with your fellow students, professors, and successful Western State alumni. Career Development coordinates events throughout the year for students to network, learn lifetime job search skills, and to promote professionalism. Join us for alumni speakers, presentations by experts in various practice areas, field trips to OCBA events, and business etiquette mixers.
