Student Organizations

STUDENT BAR ASSOCIATION

The Student Bar Association (SBA) is the official student organization for Western State College of Law. The purpose of the SBA is to represent the student body and to promote fellowship and unity among students, faculty and the administration. The SBA takes pride in organizing many social, academic and law-related events and activities throughout the school year. Board members who serve on various SBA committees address specific needs of the student body and facilitate open communication. Perhaps most importantly, the SBA allocates funds to on-campus student organizations who organize events and activities that are rooted in specific areas of the law.

The SBA encourages your participation, support and feedback. If you are a current student, please add the SBA on TWEN (The West Education Network) to stay informed on SBA news and current events.

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

All students are members of the Student Bar Association (SBA). Each year the student body elects the SBA Board, including representatives from all class levels. Many students at Western State College of Law (WSCL) are active and involved members of the student community. Throughout Western State’s 50+ year history, students have established many student-based organizations that reflect their interests and concerns. Student organizations often play an important part in law student development. Active organizations invite guest speakers to campus and host panel discussions involving variety of topics where students can learn, participate, and network.

In addition, Western State students contribute to the community by participating in public service activities that are organized or hosted by the SBA and WSCL student organizations.
