BIOGRAPHY:

Professor Park teaches Torts I and II and Privacy Law, a seminar that examines the dynamic area of information privacy law. Formerly, Professor Park was a Professor of LAWS at Southwestern Law School; Visiting Professor of Law at the University of California, Irvine School of Law; and Assistant Director of the Legal Writing and Research program at Western State College of Law.

Professor Park’s scholarship addresses the tension between technology and privacy.  Her article on reproductive health care data privacy post-Roe won the Privacy Papers for Policymakers Award, which recognizes leading privacy scholarship relevant to policymakers in the U.S. Congress, at federal agencies, and international data protection authorities. Professor Park’s article on warrantless cell phone searches, which anticipated the United States Supreme Court case of Riley v. California, was referenced in the Petition for Writ of Certiorari.

Professor Park has served as Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee for the National Association of Legal Writing Directors; Assistant Editor for the Legal Writing Institute Journal; and as a Moot Court Competition coach, with her team winning Best Overall in the 21st Annual National Juvenile Moot Court Competition.
